We did it! We bought our very first home. I suppose this means we are full-fledged adults now, right? When did that happen?!
This blog is all about the trials and tribulations of our whole home renovation. When we were house hunting, we wanted to find a house that had room to grow, need some work, and had some character. We also knew that we wanted to stay in the area. Small town life, wide-open spaces- we didn’t want to lose the things that made the thumb area unique. Man, did we hit the jackpot?! We found something that checked all of those boxes. Now that the easy part is done, we can get to the hard fun part! Demolition, renovation, and endless painting.
We’ve been having a blast with the planning process. Every time I start a sentence with, “Babe, I found this really great idea on Pinterest…,” husband of mine gives me a look that says “I married a crazy woman. I love you so much.”
